Charlotte’s Good Design Challenge

Alfred Williams & Company and Herman Miller hosted the Good Design Challenge in our Charlotte office where eight local architectural firms and two universities, Appalachian State and Winthrop, were given an Eames Molded Plastic Chair as a canvas for expression. We raised more than $3,000 for the The Joe Martin ALS Foundation.

Our judges picked IA Interior Architect as the overall winner and ai Design Group, Inc. won the People’s Choice Award. Other firms that participated were Odell, Gensler, Redline Design Group, Morris-Berg Architects, Little, and Perkins + Will.
