Nashville Design Week is a week-long, city-wide series of interdisciplinary programs and events to unite the design community, promote collaboration and idea sharing, engage the public, and elevate the impact of Nashville’s design economy.

Alfred Williams & Company's Nashville team was honored to be a founding sponsor for the inaugural year. They hosted three programs that were focused on the concept of how space matters and how the disciplines represented impact space.

The first program was a lecture given by Eames Demetrios, grandson of Charles and Ray Eames, focusing on understanding space and the impact Charles and Ray Eames’ holistic vision of design has had on the design community.

Following the lecture, we gathered experts from various skill sets to weigh in on why space matters to them, how they impact it and how we’re all using our own unique discipline to create spaces that matter.
